On Friday evening, the Iranian Air Defense announced that it had successfully engaged and downed two Israeli warplanes, capturing the pilot of one of the aircraft. 

According to the statement issued by the Air Defense, one of the pilots, identified as a woman, was apprehended following the incident. The operation was described as a demonstration of the Air Defense's capabilities in countering Israeli airstrikes and as a testament to the armed forces' preparedness to defend the nation's sovereignty against any threats.

Earlier that day, Israeli forces conducted airstrikes targeting multiple sites throughout Iran, including the capital city of Tehran, which resulted in several casualties and injuries.
