Doha: The Ministry of Municipality has announced the cancellation of Garangao events scheduled for March 3 and 4, citing safety concerns and adherence to precautionary directives. In a statement shared on social media, the ministry said the decision was taken to safeguard public well-being in light of the prevailing circumstances.
The
ministry also confirmed that activities at Beach 974 have been cancelled until
further notice. Garangao, a cherished Ramadan tradition marking the midway
point of the holy month, is typically celebrated with festivities for children
in recognition of their fasting effort
