Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) has clarified that the temporary precautionary evacuation measures announced earlier apply only to residents who received official notifications through the National Alert System. The ministry said the instructions are limited to specific locations and are not applicable to the general public.

Authorities stated that the step was taken as a temporary precautionary measure to ensure public safety until the potential threat subsides. Residents who received the alert were advised to follow the instructions provided in the official message.
