Doha, Qatar: The Government Communications Office has clarified misleading information circulating on social media regarding the recent attacks targeting Qatar, stating that claims about casualties and damage are inaccurate. Authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for verified updates.
In
a statement, the GCO said some online posts had shared incorrect information
about the number of projectiles allegedly launched toward Qatar during the past
24 hours. The office noted that such reports do not reflect the actual
situation and warned against spreading unverified information.
The GCO confirmed that no fatalities have been recorded in connection with the attacks, adding that all missiles directed toward Qatar during this period were successfully intercepted. Officials also urged the public to follow official government channels for accurate updates and avoid circulating rumors.
