Kochi: The CBSE Gulf Sahodaya, Qatar Chapter has appointed its new office bearers during the recently held Principal’s Forum at Crowne Plaza, Kochi, India. The forum brought together school leaders from across the Gulf region, providing a prominent platform to discuss contemporary educational leadership and best practices.
In
a significant development, Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal of M.E.S. Indian School, was
appointed President of the
Qatar Chapter, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the CBSE community.
Dr Maneesh Mangal,
Principal of Podar Pearl School,
was named Convener for his
dynamic leadership, while Mr Jacob Mathew, Principal of Olive International School,
took charge as Secretary
for his commitment to institutional coordination. At the regional level, Mrs Asna Nafees,
Principal of DPS
Modern Indian School, was appointed Secretary of Gulf Sahodaya,
reflecting the confidence in her leadership across the Gulf.
The forum was graced by Padma Shri awardee and Paralympic icon Ms
Deepa Malik as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring address on resilience,
perseverance, and inclusive leadership left a lasting impression on the
delegates. Mr Jai Prakash Chaturvedi,
Director (Affiliation) of CBSE, attended as the Guest of Honour, sharing
valuable insights on the evolving landscape of CBSE education.
