Doha, Qatar: Doha: The biennial cultural extravaganza "EF Hexa Tech Sargotsavam 2025" organized by Engineers Forum, an associated organization of IBPC, Qatar, concluded with Kollam TKM Engineering College Alumni clinching the overall championship with 365 points. Cochin University and Kannur Engineering College alumni secured second and third places with 266 and 259 points, respectively.
Held on May 9, 16, 22, and 23 at Noble International School, Wakrah, the event featured 42 competitions across all age groups and categories, drawing 1,760 registrations—making it the largest Malayali professional gathering in Qatar for a competition.
A
25-member jury, including five expert judges from Kerala, assessed the
performances. Alumni from 20 other Kerala engineering colleges, including CETAQ
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar Athanasius Engg College Kothamangalam, GEC Thrissur, MES Engg College Kuttippuram
and ANECX Palakkad , also competed fiercely, with many missing top spots by
narrow margins.
The
closing ceremony was inaugurated by IBPC President Thaha Muhammed. EF President
Ashiq Ahmad presided, with General Secretary Zakir Hussain and other
dignitaries in attendance. The event was smoothly coordinated by Arts Secretary
Samjad Hussain, Associate Sreejish Ganesh, and the EF organizing team.
