The Education Above All Foundation (EAA Foundation), a global organization focused on education and development, has entered into a groundbreaking agreement with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to ensure the continuity of education for 90,000 high school students in Gaza. This initiative involves the effective administration of the electronic General Secondary Examinations (Tawjihi). Supported by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), this agreement marks Phase Two of EAA Foundation's flagship initiative, "Rebuilding Hope for Gaza," launched in December 2023 in response to ongoing regional conflict.
The agreement entails collaboration between EAA Foundation, UNDP, and QFFD to establish 100 fully equipped educational spaces with reliable internet access and stable power supplies. Safe digital testing platforms will be implemented, and 10,000 tablets will be provided to students in need, thanks to donations from Heal Palestine, the Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA), and Ministry of Education partners.
Moreover, 30,000 students will receive structured academic support, including remedial classes, practice tests, and orientation workshops. Psychosocial support services will also be available to boost mental health and resilience. The project, spanning this year and the next, will utilize five exam cycles to target the Tawjihi cohorts and aims to transform these centers into long-term digital learning hubs, supported by a sustainability plan for Gaza's educational recovery.
