Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) seized five falcons at Hamad International Airport.
The action is due to non-compliance with legal regulations governing the entry of wildlife into the country.
The Ministry stated that this action is part of the Wildlife Development Department's ongoing efforts to implement and enforce Law No. (5) of 2006, which regulates the trade in endangered species and their products.
