Kasaragod: A 21-year-old newlywed woman, K. Nandana, was found dead in her in-laws' home on Sunday afternoon, just four months after her love marriage to Ranjesh. The tragic incident unfolded after Nandana sent a distressing text to her mother, stating she was "going to die."

Nandana, the only daughter of K. Ravi and Seena, alarmed her family with the message, prompting her mother to notify the in-laws. When the family attempted to check on her, they received no response. Upon breaking down the door, they found Nandana hanging in her bedroom.

The Melparamba police arrived promptly, registering a case and conducting an inquest under the guidance of RDO Binu Joseph and SI K.N. Suresh Kumar. Her body was transported to Kasaragod General Hospital for a postmortem examination, as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of her death.
