Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has finalised its operational arrangements to receive Zakat contributions during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Zakat Affairs Department confirmed that both digital and in-person collection channels are fully prepared to handle donations from individuals and companies. Officials said the system has been strengthened to ensure smooth processing, transparency and secure handling of funds throughout the month.

Service hours have been extended to accommodate increased demand, and additional collection points have been made available across the country. Donors can also use online platforms and electronic payment methods to fulfil their Zakat obligations conveniently.

The ministry noted that all collected funds will be distributed to eligible beneficiaries in accordance with Islamic principles and established regulatory procedures.

Authorities encouraged residents and businesses to make use of the available channels and fulfil their Zakat duties during Ramadan.
