Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour in Qatar has announced the countdown to the implementation of a decision regulating working hours in open areas during summer months. 

“MoL announces the countdown to implementing the decision regulating working hours in open areas during summer, effective from 1 June 2025, between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm,” the ministry wrote in a social media post.

As part of this initiative, the Occupational Safety and Health Department is conducting a campaign throughout May to raise awareness about heat stress and its prevention in workplaces, the ministry added.
