Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has called on all electric scooter rental companies to temporarily cease operations in Katara, Lusail, West Bay, and Corniche.
The suspension will take effect on Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15, 2025, citing security and organizational reasons. The Ministry has stressed the importance of full compliance with this circular.
In addition, the Ministry of Transport announced that all maritime activities along these areas are also halted until 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
