Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour (MoL) announced the launch of the "Ouqoul" platform. This digital initiative aims to simplify the hiring process for private-sector companies seeking university graduates in Qatar.
Developed in partnership with Google Cloud and Mannai Info Tech, the platform highlights the Ministry's dedication to leveraging advanced global technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability in its endeavors.
Targeting roles outside the nationalization scheme, "Ouqoul" underscores the Ministry's commitment to offering high-quality employment opportunities for qualified expatriates, while adapting the local labor market to its evolving demands. It connects private-sector employers with skilled expatriate graduates through an intuitive interface.
"Ouqoul" provides companies with the flexibility to upload job specifications as PDFs or create them on the platform. Its AI-driven chatbot assists employers in crafting precise job descriptions. Hamad Dalmouk, Assistant Undersecretary for Migrant Labour Affairs at MoL, hailed the platform as a milestone in linking Qatar’s university graduates with meaningful private-sector careers, strengthening the skilled workforce and fostering domestic talent.
