Doha: Arshad (26), a native of Alathur in Kerala’s Palakkad district and an employee of Lulu Hypermarket in Qatar, passed away on Tuesday morning following a heart attack.

He was working as a driver at the Lulu branch in Messila. After experiencing chest pain, he was rushed to Hamad Hospital for treatment. However, despite efforts by the medical team, he could not be saved.

His body is currently kept at Hamad Hospital’s mortuary. Friends and community members said that arrangements are being made to send his remains back to India after completing the required formalities.
