The matter was discussed during a meeting of the Civil Defence Council chaired by Major General Mohammed Jassim Al-Sulaiti, Director-General of Public Security and Deputy Chairman of the council.

During the meeting, officials also reviewed the preparedness of different sectors and the measures taken to deal with any possible emergency situations.

Authorities said that environmental monitoring activities are continuing across the country and that relevant departments remain ready to respond if any unusual changes are detected.
