Doha, Qatar: Qatar’s award-winning airport, the Hamad International Airport (DOH), recorded a remarkable achievement this August, recording over five million passengers in a single month for the first time.

In a statement issued on the airport’s website, the airport highlighted that this impressive feat was accomplished while maintaining a high-quality experience for all travellers, reinforcing its status as a dynamic and fast-growing hub that values passenger satisfaction. 

In August 2025, the airport saw a 6.4% rise in passenger traffic compared to the same month in 2024. Notably, out of the total, 1.3 million passengers were point-to-point travellers, which indicates a remarkable 12% year-on-year increase in this segment.
