Marking its tenth day in theaters, Tiger 3, under the direction of Maneesh Sharma, has reached a notable milestone, breaking a new record. Yash Raj Films (YRF) made the announcement on Instagram, officially acknowledging the film's induction into the ₹400 crore club on a global scale.
YRF shared a poster of Tiger 3, declaring it as "the highest-grossing Diwali release in history [Indian languages] within 10 days." The global gross stood at ₹400.50 crore ($48.25 million), with the Indian box office contributing ₹298 crore (₹244.80 crore net) and overseas collections reaching ₹102.50 crore ($12.30 million).
According to news agency ANI, Katrina Kaif expressed her excitement about Tiger 3 crossing the ₹400 crore mark worldwide. She stated, "The Tiger franchise has only given me love since 2012! So, it is an amazing feeling to have received so much warmth for over a decade now. Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and now Tiger 3 are films that have been a part of my cinematic journey and growth as an artist, and it's something that I cherish greatly."
Tiger 3, an action thriller featuring Salman
Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi, was released on November 12. Apart from
being the third installment in the Tiger franchise, it is part of the YRF Spy
Universe, along with films like War and Pathaan.
