Doha, Qatar: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani welcomed Eid Al-Adha greetings at Lusail Palace on Friday morning following the congregational Eid prayer. Among those received were HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Their Excellencies the Sheikhs, ministers, undersecretaries, Shura Council members and a sizable delegation of citizens. Officers of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior personnel and other security services, alongside directors of national departments and institutions, also conveyed their felicitations. His Highness further received heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar.

Well-wishers offered congratulations and prayers, invoking Almighty Allah to grant His Highness, the State of Qatar, its people and the wider Arab and Islamic nations continued blessings, prosperity and unity. The morning reception was attended by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and a host of senior Sheikhs, ministers and officials.

In the afternoon, His Highness the Amir again opened Lusail Palace gates to receive additional dignitaries and citizens bearing Eid greetings. Present at the second session were Their Excellencies the Sheikhs alongside His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, reaffirming the spirit of solidarity and goodwill that marks the Eid Al-Adha celebrations in Qatar.
