Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality (MoM) in Qatar’s special
Eidiya Gift Contest, launched in celebration of Eid Al-Adha, is currently
progressing with great engagement from the public. The competition, which began
on June 6, will continue until June 11, 2025, through the ministry’s official
Instagram page (@albaladiya).
Designed to promote cultural awareness and community involvement
during the festive season, the contest features daily Arabic-language questions
related to Eid Al-Adha traditions. Participants must follow the ministry’s
Instagram page and submit their answers via Direct Message (DM) within one hour
of each question being posted.
The winners are selected based on first correct response, and
their names are announced the following day. Prizes will be distributed at the
end of the Eid holidays in coordination with the winners.
The contest, now several days in, is seeing active participation
from residents across Qatar, with quick responses and strong interest in the
daily challenges. The first question, posted on June 6, asked about the correct
way to store Udhiyah meat after the sacrificial process.
With just a few days remaining, residents are encouraged to stay
engaged, answer promptly, and stand a chance to win special Eidiya gifts for
themselves and their families.
