Doha: The Ministry of Interior has urged members of the public to report incidents of begging through the Metrash application and designated hotline numbers.

In a statement, the ministry reminded residents that begging is a violation of the law and can pose social and security concerns. Authorities said timely reporting will enable officials to respond quickly and take necessary action.

The ministry encouraged the public to provide accurate information, including the location of incidents, to help enforcement teams address the issue effectively. Officials noted that cooperation from residents plays an important role in maintaining public order.
