Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport (MoT) has announced a temporary suspension of all forms of maritime navigation across the country from Saturday, September 13, to Monday, September 15, 2025.

According to the circular, the suspension covers a wide range of maritime activities including leisure, tourism, and fishing, as well as vessel leasing services such as leisure boats, scooters, and jetboats. The restriction applies from 9 PM on Saturday until 9 PM on Monday, spanning the waters from Hamad International Airport to The Waterfront in Lusail City.

The Ministry urged both individuals and companies to strictly comply with the directive, stressing the importance of adhering to the suspension for the safety and smooth management of maritime operations during this period.
