Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department has forecast moderate temperatures during the daytime and cold conditions by night across the country today, Saturday, 21 February.
In
its daily weather report, the Department stated that inshore areas will
experience hazy to misty conditions in some places until 6pm.
The
lowest temperature recorded this morning was 12°C in Al Ghuwayriyah, Al Karanah
and Sealine, while the capital city, Doha,
registered 18°C.
Offshore
conditions are expected to be hazy at times. Winds inshore will be
northwesterly, ranging between 7 and 17 knots, while offshore winds will blow
from the northwest at 5 to 15 knots.
The sea state inshore is forecast to be between 1 and 3 feet, and 2 to 4 feet offshore. Visibility inshore will range from 4 to 9 kilometres, dropping to 3 kilometres or less in some areas during early hours. Offshore visibility will range between 4 and 9 kilometres.
