Doha: Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced
a remarkable surge in foreign investment activity in 2025, with 12,449
non-Qatari companies established during the year - marking a 600 percent
increase compared to 2024. The growth highlights Qatar’s strong investment
climate and rising investor confidence.
The Ministry said the achievement reflects the
country’s accelerated economic transformation aligned with the Third National
Development Strategy. The performance indicators also point to improved
procedural efficiency and rapid progress in digital transformation initiatives.
Meanwhile, the Single Window platform developed 26
new services in 2025, processing 239,593 transactions, 93 percent of which were
submitted electronically. Customer satisfaction for electronic application
services reached 95 percent in the fourth quarter, underscoring enhanced
service delivery and investor support.
