Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has reopened Dahl Al Hamam Park to the public after completing a major renovation and redevelopment project, transforming the popular green space into one of the most modern and inclusive parks in Qatar. The upgrade, executed in close coordination with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), meets the highest international standards for public infrastructure, accessibility, and sustainability.

This revitalization initiative forms a core part of the Ministry’s 2024–2030 strategic plan, aligning with the broader objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030-to enhance urban livability, expand green zones, and create a healthier, more sustainable environment for citizens and residents.

Located within Doha Municipality, the newly enhanced Dahl Al Hamam Park now offers a vibrant blend of recreational, cultural, and family-friendly facilities. Among the key new features are:

·      Four designated children’s play areas

·      900-seat outdoor amphitheater, known as Dahl Al Hamam Theater

·      A celebration area and multi-purpose community hall for events

·      390-metre jogging track

·      Three outdoor fitness zones

·      Basketball court

·      Three food and beverage kiosks and a fully equipped café

·      220 parking spaces to support higher footfall

To promote inclusivity, the park has been fitted with separate prayer rooms for men and women, a dedicated administrative building for park management, and accessible facilities for people with disabilities, ensuring ease of movement and comfort for all.

Emphasizing environmental responsibility, the park now includes:

·      Three solar-powered charging stations

·      A dedicated irrigation water tank

·      An on-site power station to ensure uninterrupted services

The park’s thoughtful layout also incorporates multiple family seating zones and modern sanitation facilities, offering a seamless and enjoyable experience for daily visitors and event-goers alike.
