Tensions between Israel and Iran escalated further
on Tuesday as both nations exchanged attacks for a fifth consecutive day,
drawing international concern and urgent diplomatic efforts.
Amid the ongoing conflict, U.S. President Donald
Trump issued a stark warning to the Iranian people, urging them to evacuate
Tehran. He claimed Iran had rejected a proposed agreement aimed at curbing its
nuclear weapons development.
"Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told
them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN
NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should
immediately evacuate Tehran!" Trump stated on his Truth Social platform.
The White House confirmed that President Trump
would cut short his participation at the G7 summit in Canada, leaving a day
early to address the escalating Middle East crisis. According to Fox News, he
is expected to convene a meeting of the National Security Council upon his
return.
French President Emmanuel Macron commented on
Trump’s early departure from the summit, stating it could be a constructive
move. "Given the urgency, the priority is to bring both sides - Israel and
Iran - to agree on a ceasefire, which the U.S. has already proposed,"
Macron said.
Global leaders continue to monitor the situation
closely, as diplomatic efforts intensify to prevent further escalation in the
region.
