Doha, Qatar: Podar Pearl School, the only Round Square member school in Qatar, proudly held its Round Square Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–2026, highlighting its commitment to nurturing student leadership and global citizenship. The prestigious event marked a significant milestone in the school’s engagement with Round Square - an international network of forward-thinking schools united by six IDEALS: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of School President Mr. C Muhamed Nizar, Principal Dr. Maneesh Mangal, School Board Members, the Senior Leadership Team, and faculty. A total of 23 student leaders were officially invested as members of the Round Square Student Body, with each being recognized for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, community service, and international collaboration. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Nizar emphasized, “Leadership is not about a badge or a title – it is about actions and values. I am proud of our students who are stepping forward to embody the Round Square spirit.”
The event also showcased the school’s key Round Square initiatives and activities over the year. Highlights included International Zoom Postcard sessions with schools in Namibia, the USA, and India, a meaningful Plantation and Iftar Drive, an International Virtual Exchange programme, and participation in global competitions such as the CGS Art Competition and the Round Square Story Relay. Students are also preparing to attend major upcoming events including Model United Nations (MUN) and conferences in Dubai, Jamnagar, and Varanasi.
Principal Dr. Maneesh Mangal presented the official badges to the newly inducted leaders. In his address, he remarked, “Round Square empowers our students to become engaged global citizens and future leaders. Today’s ceremony is a celebration of their immense potential.” Podar Pearl School continues its mission to inspire globally minded student leaders through the Round Square movement, providing transformative experiences and opportunities for growth on an international scale.
