Doha: The draw for the 2026 Qatar TotalEnergies Open Women’s Tennis Tournament has been completed, setting the stage for a high-profile competition featuring many of the world’s top players. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, the Doha champion in 2020, has withdrawn after adjusting her schedule following the Australian Open. Her place in the main draw has been taken by World No. 34 Emiliana Arango and World No. 57 Cristina Bucsa.

The top eight seeds have received byes into the second round, adding to the competitive edge as the tournament progresses. The draw has thrown up several intriguing potential matchups, including a possible later-round clash between Elena Rybakina and rising star Mirra Andreeva, while defending champion Amanda Anisimova faces a tough route in her bid to retain the title.
