Doha, Qatar: Healthcare professionals from across Qatar gathered on Saturday, February 14, at the Ideal Indian School ground for a vibrant one-day cricket tournament organized by Medicos Markhiya. Titled the Medicos Premier League Season 1, the event aimed to strengthen relationships and promote unity among healthcare workers representing various institutions across the country.

Nithyananda, Group Director of Abeer Medical Centre Qatar, UAE, and Kuwait. In
his address, he highlighted the invaluable contributions of healthcare
professionals to society and expressed his gratitude for their relentless
efforts in ensuring the health and well-being of communities. He also
congratulated the organizers of the Medicos Premier League for their
commendable initiative in bringing together medical professionals on a common
platform beyond their professional commitments.
The
tournament featured 10 competitive teams, showcasing both sporting spirit and
camaraderie among participants. The grand finale saw an exciting clash between
QRC Warriors and Spike CC, with Spike CC emerging victorious to lift the
championship trophy after defeating QRC Warriors in a thrilling final match.
The
Champions Trophy was handed over by the Manager of Medicos Premier League, Mr.
Abul Rehman, while Mr. Mahroof presented the runners-up trophy to QRC Warriors.
The successful conduct of the tournament reflected the strong sense of unity
and teamwork shared by Qatar’s healthcare community, both on and off the field.
