New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for
Israel on a two-day official visit, stating that the trip will help define new
objectives in the growing strategic relationship between the two countries.
Ahead of his departure, Modi said he looks forward
to holding detailed discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
and other senior leaders. Talks are expected to focus on strengthening
cooperation in defence, trade, technology, agriculture and water management,
along with an exchange of views on regional and global developments.
The visit reflects the continued growth of
India-Israel relations in recent years, with both sides aiming to consolidate
existing cooperation and identify new areas of strategic engagement.
