Doha, Qatar: Acting on the directives of the Amir, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Ministry of Interior (MoI), through the Civil Defence Council, has announced that compensation will be provided to citizens and residents whose private properties have sustained damages due to falling shrapnel from intercepted Iranian missiles. Affected properties may include residential buildings, vehicles, industrial facilities, and commercial establishments.
The
compensation initiative applies to cases that have already been officially
documented through reports submitted to the appropriate security authorities.
The Civil Defence Council has stated that affected individuals will be
contacted directly to finalize compensation procedures in line with the laws
and regulations currently in force.
For
individuals who have not yet reported their cases, the Ministry has provided a
limited window of opportunity to submit a compensation request. Applications
can be submitted within two days from the date of the announcement via the
Metrash2 mobile application. Users must navigate to the "Requests"
option under the "Communicate with Us" section, choose the relevant
service, complete the required fields, provide a damage description and
location, and upload any available images or supporting documents before
confirming submission.
The Ministry emphasized that no compensation claims will be accepted after the specified deadline. Citizens and residents are urged to take immediate action to ensure their eligibility for compensation under this emergency response directive.
