Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, through its Mosques Management Department, has officially opened the Sultan bin Ali Al-Ali Al-Maadeed Mosque in Al Khor city. Situated on a vast 5,676 square meter plot, the mosque includes two residences for imams.
Endowed by Ali bin Sultan bin Ali Al-Ali Al-Maadeed, the mosque aims to serve as a vibrant centre for worship, prayer, remembrance, and Quran recitation.
Designated as grand mosque number M.S 1432, it features a main prayer hall for 950 male worshippers and a separate hall for 100 female worshippers. The mosque is equipped with a spacious ablution area and ample public parking, including spots for people with disabilities, along with well-organized entry and exit points. A towering minaret completes the mosque’s impressive structure.
